An exciting opportunity for an Office Co-ordinator has now become available within the Property Services team on a full-time office bases in our London office to assist with the management of the property, facilities and health & safety for all our colleagues, contractors, third party suppliers and clients on UCI premises.

This role requires individuals who is dedicated and willing to getting the job done which on occasion may require working past 5pm if we have events on. The nature of the position in that of a fixed term contract.**A role you will love**

The role will cover the full spectrum of office management, facilities services, administration and will support the business, department and Facilities Manager with the management of the property portfolio under the department’s control. In particular the role will be the focal point for 3rd party contractor coordination of hard and soft FM services and associated health & safety, compliance and legislative management within the team. The role is to ensure the day to day operations and business as usual activities of the office and to ensure the building runs smoothly and is maintained to a high standard. To provide support in administration tasks and manage office communications.

**What key accountabilities you will have in the role?**
- Overseeing health and safety (H&S) policies and procedures as appropriate
- Ensure site compliance with legislation
- Be the office focal point for health and safety including first aid
- Responsible for evacuation procedures, policies, co-ordination and training within building
- Reviewing, updating and communicating policy and procedural change
- Co-ordination of the service providers under your provision such as M&E and Cleaning. Ensuring compliance within the agreed performance requirements and escalating performance issues to RFM
- Be the site focal point for compliance with Physical Security and Information Security policies in relation to the facilities operations
- Liaising with key contacts to provide H&S and inductions to new starters and visitors Dealing with day-to-day building operational issues

**What skills and experience will you bring to the role?**
- IOSH
- Member of IWFM / RICS (preferred)
- Relevant IWFM Accreditation / Property or Facilities related degree (preferred)
- Experience of managing health and safety
