**About the Trust**

East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust provide services to the local community to around 500,000 people, with the regional cancer centre supporting around 2 million people. They provide care to the community with an annual budget of around £350 million and more than 5,000 staff.

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- To ensure all patients referral details are fully completed on the referral letter and are accurately entered onto the Lorenzo system in accordance with the Trust Access Policy. Contact the referrer in relation to incomplete referrals.
- Ensure that all referrals are vetted by a consultant within a specified time, in accordance with the Trusts Access Policy, prior to booking the appointment.
- Reconcile referral letters against daily PTL report.
- Book outpatient clinics, ensuring maximum utilisation of capacity (filling cancellation slots as necessary) in accordance with the agreed speciality, consultant and clinic protocols.

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Excellent communication skills
- both verbal and written
- Microsoft office skills
- Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Previous admin experience
- Previous NHS experience
