**About the role**:
We're seeking a dedicated Functional Support Coordinator to join our team and make a significant impact. As a Functional Support Coordinator, you will use your excellent organisational skills to support our ways of working - you will be responsible for meeting and diary management, travel arrangements for our senior leadership team as well as the primary point of contact for inquiries for our wider Head Office Teams. This role provides the flexibility of working both from our Hatfield Head Office at least 3 days a week and 2 days remotely, allowing you to achieve a balanced work-life blend.

**You will be**:
In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing and coordinating multiple diaries, facilitating meetings, and making essential appointments. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring meeting excellence by assisting with the planning and preparation of key events, organising room bookings, sending out invitations, and managing meeting content while diligently following up on action points. Your collaborative skills will shine as you work with colleagues to create and drive meeting agendas and optimise meeting formats, ultimately making the best use of everyone's time. You'll be at the forefront of efficient resource utilisation by working closely with the Functional Support Managerand key stakeholders to ensure senior leader time is utilised effectively. Your proactive diary management will drive the effectiveness of the Managing Director and Senior Leadership team, ensuring that internal and external meetings are optimally planned. Additionally, you'll play a vital role in travel coordination, assisting with accommodation, onboarding new team members, and organising function-level activities, events, and celebrations to foster team cohesion.

- Highly Organised and able to prioritise: You are an expert in time management, capable of managing complex schedules and tasks efficiently. You have a track record of working in fast-paced environments where effective prioritisation is essential.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: You can seamlessly switch between various tasks and acknowledge the need for flexible working hours to meet the demands of the role.
- Confident Communicator: You can communicate confidently with individuals at all levels within the organisation, including Senior Managers, Heads of Department, and Directors.
- Travel and Accommodation: You are experienced in arranging travel plans and hotel bookings efficiently.
- Proficiency in Office Tools: You have experience with either Google Suite or MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
