**What are we looking for?**

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales manager to join a growing company. We are looking for this individual to concentrate on building and supporting the growth of our office-based sales team alongside developing our existing, successfulpersonnel. We have a highly successful Account Management Team, alongside a growing Business Development Executive division and big plans to build this out even further.

You must have a demonstrable track-record of success in managing, developing, and supporting sales personnel and be comfortable leading by example when it comes to getting on the phones and showing the team how it’s done for the purpose of their progression.

**What will you be doing?**

Your sales activities will involve performing the following:

- Continue to develop and evolve the training plan for new starters and work closely with our Training Manager to ensure the initial inductions are purposeful and relevant to your roles.
- Organise for new starters to spend time across the business and develop an understanding of how we operate and the important roles each function completes as part of the Customer journey.
- Settle in the new starters after their initial induction and further develop their skill set to become successful individuals within the company.
- Perform monthly one-to-ones with all your team, identifying and actioning any requirements of training or support to progress their skillset and mindset to role-comprehension.
- Undertake call listening with members of the team on a regular basis to identify areas of improvement and recognise & reward valuable contributions.
- Monitor activity of individuals and ensure this achieves the required level for them to achieve the required targets set out by the business.
- Report on activity, progress, and the highlights alongside any challenges to the Sales Director on a weekly basis.
- Pro-actively review the undertaken processes by the team to identify any additional autonomy or improvements that could be made that will improve efficiency and accuracy of activities.
- Where beneficial, get on the phones to show your team that you can achieve what they are trying to, leading by example.
- Management and resolution of any first level complaints, including where necessary communication with other departments in the business to establish factual basis and support their conclusion.
- Produce incentive strategies that will drive results and manage the results and award the winning parties.
- Work closely with Sales Administration to ensure the output of your team members is being delivered in the right way to the required level of detail for clean orders to progress through the business.
- Support the Account Managers to maximise Customer retention and cross-selling of our other products into our existing base.

**What do we need from you?**
- Proven management experience in a similar role.
- Experience of working within the telecoms industry (highly desirable).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Motivational, can-do approach to problem-solving and team member support.
- Self-motivated and hardworking individual.
- Proven experience of working with and exceeding targets.
- Confident with both telephone and face to face interaction with clients.
