We are seeking a highly organized, outgoing and friendly person with a detail-orientated mindset to become our administrative assistant within our growing company and busy office team.

The administrative assistant will provide crucial support to the office team by performing a variety of duties, such as answering the telephone and dealing with varied customer enquiries, general administrative and clerical tasks. The administrative assistant will also help with duties such as the preparation of daily order paperwork, pallet packs and other such documentation.

**Duties**:

- Telephone duties answering both retail and wholesale enquiries and management of their enquiries.
- Various administrative duties using in-house software, along with common programs like Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Assist the wholesale manager and the director in the development of spreadsheets as and when required.
- Assist the wholesale manager with pallet packs in the morning, organizing them ready for the warehouse team to start picking and packing.
- Occasional customer-facing duties welcoming the customer and handling their enquiry face-to-face.
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements for the director and/or management team as or when necessary.
- Manage office supplies and inventory.
- Conduct research and compile data as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned

**Skills Required**:

- Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy with good grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Outstanding customer service skills, being able to cope under pressure and being able to use initiative to problem solve.
- Reliability - Need to be reliable for your shifts, have good punctuality and have a pro-active attitude.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of basic office procedures and phone etiquette

**Salary**: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
