This is a great opportunity to join an established Company and be the onsite HR point of contact. If you have a passion for HR, for working with really good people, want a friendly work environment and are a strong administrator then this job is for you. As you will be the solo HR person working in our Northampton location, it will be a great opportunity for growth and development, with solid support from the HR team located in Ireland.

This is a contract to cover Maternity Leave and we expect this position to be up to mid March 2025.

The hours for this role will be fixed, and will be Monday to Friday. To an extent, we can be flexible and so we can discuss working hours that would work for your life.

Your key duties will include:

- The onsite HR point of contact with day to day support from the HR Team at head office
- Support existing team members with various HR queries and support as required
- Support Managers in the HR administration associated with their teams
- Involvement with the rollout of a new updated HR system and implementation of same
- Support new starters, liaising with them in their first few days of employment and maintaining regular contact through the probation period
- Creating and issuing contracts and paperwork associated with employee terms and conditions and HR compliance.
- Ensuring that HR records and policy documents remain up to date and compliant
- Carrying out any checks that may be required, including reference pre-placement medical questionnaires, right to work checks,
- Processing leavers documentation including exit interviews
- Ensuring all filing, electronic and physical is completed diligently and at regular intervals
- Note taking and providing support for various HR meetings such as investigations, disciplinaries, probation reviews, performance reviews
- Preparing and issuing any associated documentation for HR processes for HR Meetings
- Providing back up to the Payroll Administrator

The HR Administrator will have access to confidential information, and confidentiality in the work they do is extremely important.

Previous HR experience or exposure is preferrable. Previous Admin experience and a passion for HR is essential.

We do not need the assistance of third party recruiters at this time.
