Haslemere Homecare are recruiting for a Training and Recruitment Co-ordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for a senior/supervisor who is wanting to progress to the next step.

The recruitment and training coordinator’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Advertise in agreement with the director for situations vacant and budgets to be used.
- To source different places and methods of advertising, recording and monitoring the results of each source and the effectiveness it has had.
- To organise and carry out interviews.
- To enrol and guide our new staff through induction. Including care certificate for all new starters as well as on line training and mentor meetings.
- To identify senior staff who are willing and capable of guiding new starters on shadowing shifts.To complete carer’s files with all necessary paperwork, keeping files updated when certificates expire.
- To ensure all staff are kept up to date and enrolled on training specific to their roles.
- To resource additional training suppliers and enrol staff (under directors’ agreement) to further training course such as NVQs and Diplomas.
- To identify staff who are ready for promotion.
- To carry out care calls as necessary.
- To maintain robust monitoring, evaluation and quality assurance systems, reporting any concerns to the Care Manager and Company Director.
- Participate in the out-of-hours On-call rota to support the caregivers working in the community..
