**VWS Westgarth**

VWS Westgarth Ltd is part of **Veolia Water Technologies** group and is reported through this parent. Veolia Water Technologies (VWT) is in turn part of Veolia Environnement SA (VE), a French multinational business.

VWS Westgarth Ltd, whose main office is in East Kilbride, Scotland, is a specialist in water treatment systems for the offshore energy sector. We are the world leader in the Sulphate Removal Process, which is a seawater treatment system for the offshore industry and we are also specialists in treatment systems for oilfield produced waters. Our main offshore markets are currently West Africa and South America, where we also undertake the management responsibility for offices in Luanda and Rio de Janeiro.

Our main offshore markets are currently Guyana, the Gulf of Mexico, Angola and Brazil. VWS Westgarth employs more than 160 staff within its own offices, who work closely with a number of other global Veolia business units regularly.

**Administration Team Leader**

To be responsible for the management and coordination of the administrative support services (and related budgets) within the business, ensuring all systems and processes operate efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner, through a process of continuous improvement.

**The Role**
- To develop administration services across the Office to provide an effective and efficient service, using software packages to streamline processes and procedures.
- Have responsibility for all organisational and administrative practices within the team, highlighting and resolving problems, and making judgements on staffing, workload and administrative process issues as appropriate.
- Ensure consistent and efficient performance of the administration team through effective people management skills and processes.
- Working with key stakeholders both in and outside of the organisation
- Support/guide/train all members of the team to deliver their work to the correct and highest standards.
- Ensure the quality of the work delivered.
- Support departments around the business with any Administration requirements.
- Build professional relationships with all the departments within the company to ensure the success of the operation.
- Manage the Internal Travel System for Operational and Support Staff
- Integrate active travel initiatives
- Assisting with additional administration tasks and projects when needed
- Manage the administration team's absence, training and development and Performance Appraisals.
- Ensuring GDPR compliance is met at all times
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of the organisation
- Working closely with the Office Manager.
- All round team member who will be willing to get involved in issues and areas outside of their specific job role as required.

**Capabilities/Competencies**
- Strong time management skills
- International Travel Management Experience
- Communicates complex or sensitive information effectively
- Strong understanding of office management processes
- Able to demonstrate initiative and work with little supervision whilst meeting targets but also work as part of a team.
- Posses influential and persuasive skill set
- Excellent attention to detail and adherence to standards
- Expert in Microsoft Office packages or Google Suite.
- Administration qualification equivalent to HND or significant experience of working in an administrative role at a supervisory level.
