Poole, United Kingdom Heart & Soul Studio Ltd Full time

**Main Purpose of the Role**

To assist in maintaining the financial systems and procedures of the Company by recording and processing financial information, data entry and general financial administration.

**Job Responsibilities will include**:

- Processing payments received and maintaining sales ledger on a daily basis.
- Raising invoices, statements and credit notes.
- Liaising with customers to ensure the timely payment of invoices.
- Handling invoice queries, investigating payments, and providing clarification on all finance queries for the sales team.
- Validating sales orders, checking for accuracy and consistency of coding and VAT input.
- Providing weekly cashflow support by updating overheads and sales and purchase forecasts on cashflow reports.
- Account journals.
- Producing month end reports as required.
- Assisting with the annual company stock take procedure.
- Maintaining and developing robust systems of internal financial control to ensure compliance with legislation, Company policy and best practice.
- Helping to improve company procedures and day to day operation of the business.

**Essential Skills and Attributes**
- Proficiency in MS Office, to include Excel, Word and Outlook.
- A strong working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts.
- High level of numeracy and financial awareness.
- Organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with good written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to be both part of a team and to also work independently.
- Positive attitude and a professional approach.
- Ability to work with complete confidentiality.
- Energy, enthusiasm and commitment.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
