Management Accountant Part-Time

Our client are seeking a temporary management accountant to join their finance team for a minimum term of 9 months. Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, assisting in the production of the monthly management accounts to strict deadlines.

Description
* Production of month end revenue reconciliation in multiple currencies across all revenue streams* Provide meaningful analysis of sales and margins promptly following the end of month* Review and reconciliation of all company stock in various locations with recommendations for any stock adjustments necessary.* Production of month end reconciliations for all key balance sheet accounts* Production of ad hoc reporting, required throughout the business* Review and update the fixed asset register intangible items and post amortisation* Calculations of various accruals and maintain supporting schedules* Preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts for submission to Group* Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns and monthly declarations* Working with external auditors to provide information in a timely manner* Preparation of financial reports for inclusion within the statutory reports and accounts* Provide cover for other finance functions where necessary
Profile
* Communication:Great communication skills required to deal with both internal and external stakeholders* Organisation:Ability to work to tight deadlines* Technical: Ability to use excel to an intermediate level to analyse data for reconciliationsEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:* A proven background in management accounts production* ACCA/CIMA qualification* Experience of assisting in the production of statutory accounts* Can demonstrate flexibility and ability to work with multiple currency accounts* Experience using Sage 300
Job Offer
* £27,000 per annum DOE* Annual allowance of 15 days (pro rata) (excluding public holidays)* Standard UK stakeholder pension
