Temporary Management Accountant

Our client, a reputable company, is seeking a highly skilled Temporary Management Accountant to join their finance team for a minimum term of 9 months. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Group Financial Controller to assist in the production of the monthly management accounts to strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Produce month-end revenue reconciliations in multiple currencies across all revenue streams.
  2. Provide timely and meaningful analysis of sales and margins following the end of the month.
  3. Review and reconcile all company stock in various locations, making recommendations for any necessary stock adjustments.
  4. Produce month-end reconciliations for all key balance sheet accounts.
  5. Prepare ad-hoc reporting as required throughout the business.
  6. Review and update the fixed asset register, intangible items, and post-amortisation.
  7. Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts for submission to Group.
  8. Prepare financial reports for inclusion within the statutory reports and accounts.
  9. Provide cover for other finance functions as necessary.
Requirements:
  1. Excellent communication skills to deal with internal and external stakeholders.
  2. Intermediate-level Excel skills to analyse data for reconciliations.
Experience and Qualifications:
  1. A proven background in management accounts production.
  2. ACCA/CIMA qualification.
  3. Experience in assisting with the production of statutory accounts.
  4. Ability to work with multiple currency accounts and demonstrate flexibility.
