Housing Officer
Temp - 6 months initially
Based at the office near Watford 2 days a week, 2 days covering a patch in Luton and Bedford 2 day home working
£18- £24 per hour
Our client based in the Watford area is looking for a Housing Officer to own and manage a patch of around 200 properties. You will ensure the housing association delivers excellent tenancy management and leads in customer excellence. You will also be responsiblefor the below:

- Take ownership for a patch of properties and working with customers to ensure efficient tenancy and leasehold management including letting empty homes, income maximisation and arrears management, setting service charges, resolving anti-social behaviourand managing casework,
- Ensuring customers' homes are safe in relation to gas and fire safety and repairs are carried out effectively, undertaking estate inspections and delivering agreed actions
- Working proactively with customers, manging expectations, to ensure that they are able to have successful tenancies and have a positive view of their environment and landlord
- Managing the rent arrears process
- Dealing with ASB reports effectively
- Delivering improved performance on key indicators including customer satisfaction, letting empty homes, post inspections, estate inspections and income collection
