Applications are welcomed for a full-time Locum Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to join a friendly team of 19 consultants serving our local Buckinghamshire population. We are delighted to offer this opportunity to a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to work with multidisciplinary teams dedicated to the provision of high-quality care.
Applicants should be on the GMC Specialist Register.
The main responsibilities of the Locum Consultant will be as follows:
- Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of Obstetrics & Gynaecology patients at all times.
To share with colleagues’ responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Services
Teaching and training of junior staff.
To actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and audit.
To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing professional development (CPD).
To participate in the on-call rota and provide specialist advice in a timely manner

Clinical Responsibilities
Key Tasks
Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of Obstetrics & Gynaecology patients at all times.

To undertake duties within the agreed job plan.
