About the Role
Sense is recruiting for a Wellbeing Lead to join our fantastic People Team in Selly Oak, Birmingham on a hybrid basis. This is an exciting new opportunity for a wellbeing and EDI expert to accelerate our impact and take Sense to the next level, developing wellbeing activities, resources and tools to support our people and facilitate a culture where our people can bring their true selves to work.
Working alongside the Head of Inclusion and Wellbeing, you will help implement the wellbeing action plan and drive change as the wellbeing ambassador for the organisation. You will be hands-on and have a collaborative approach, working with different stakeholders to foster positive relationships across the organisation to deliver our Wellbeing objectives.

**The main duties and responsibilities include**:
With the Head of Inclusion and Wellbeing, develop a programme of activities, policies, and resources to deliver the wellbeing strategy and action plan
Lead on initiatives and projects that support the delivery of the Wellbeing, Inclusion, and People strategies
Celebrate wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion through organised events and awareness sessions
Prioritise the planning, organising and implementation of meaningful activities, initiatives and resources such as signposting and information materials, webinars and events
Influence and involve people throughout Sense, including the Executive team, Director of People and the Chair of the Employee Wellbeing Network
Consider all aspects of wellbeing and inclusion to implement both traditional and innovative initiatives
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximise engagement
Provide advice and support to management and staff on issues related to wellbeing
Work in collaboration with internal communications to ensure we build a strong internal and external employer brand in line with our values
Partner with external organisations and promote us as an employer of choice
Encourage employee engagement with wellbeing activities and learning opportunities
Monitor relevant legislation, research and best practice relating to wellbeing

**To succeed in this role, you will have**:
Demonstrate knowledge of employee wellbeing resources and be willing to develop additional resources or tools
Excellent communication skills and have a strong drive to work in partnership with stakeholders
Experience of establishing and building relationships with colleagues across a complex organisation
Able to manage and prioritise your own workload
Evidence of own continuing professional development
A commitment to children and adults with complex disabilities, including deafblindness, and Sense’s vision and values; a willingness to learn how to communicate with people with complex disabilities and identify the barriers to their participation in all aspects of Sense’s work
