**Reward Analyst - Permanent, Edinburgh/Hybrid**

**The role**

The HR Reward, Employee Relations and Inclusion team plays a critical role in the delivery of a broad range of projects and BAU to deliver against our organisation wide "people plan".

As our Reward Analyst you will work closely with our Reward Consultants, Senior Reward Consultant and Reward Manager to support the delivery of all aspects of reward, including salary benchmarking, job evaluation, pay and bonus annual review, share awards,benefits, remuneration regulation and executive remuneration. You will use your analytical skills to contribute to both annual and strategic reward projects.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Producing models, MI and analysis and making recommendations to support decision making
- Developing complex spreadsheets for data collection and reporting, which may involve liaising with Finance, Payroll and Group colleagues
- Supporting HR and wider business colleagues on day-to-day queries and requests for support.
- Contributing to the culture of continuous improvement through identifying, recommending, and implementing new or improved processes
- Developing robust governance and controls on all work produced

**About you**

Logical and structured in your way of working, you will thrive if you have the aptitude to problem solve and have an eye for detail to interpret trends, relationships, and identify issues.

You will be proactive, adaptable and collaborative in your approach to work, able to set realistic timeframes and manage stakeholders effectively. You will be delivery focused, have a proven background in taking ownership of modelling and analytical problemsand will offer valuable insight and advice relating to projects, BAU and day to day queries.

**Essential criteria**:

- Expert user in Microsoft Excel & other relevant data/analytical packages
- Strong numerical, data interpretation and analysis skills
- Ability to present complex information to different stakeholder groups, in accessible formats with an appropriate level of detail
- Strong organisations skills to manage a varied workload
- A general understanding of reward agenda (salary, bonus, benefits) and its relationship with employee engagement would be useful, but is not essential
