We have an excellent opportunity for a Procurement Data Analyst to join the UK Category Management Organisation within the Procurement & Commercial Function of the Electronics Division. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Direct UK Category Management.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather, understand and report forecast data to enable sourcing and contract activities.
  • Establish and develop Power BI reports.
  • Develop and maintain inflation reports.
  • Develop, manage and report Procurement key performance indicators.
  • Create data dashboards, graphs and visualisations for category strategies and business reviews.
  • Collate and analyse spend and performance related data. Determine and implement actions accordingly.
  • Gather, analyse and report supply risk data in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as point of contact for Procurement reporting, supporting data requests from the Procurement team.
  • Establish strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and with teams to meet requirements and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of d esign and build quality datasets that enable stakeholders to make decisions, provide business recommendations and solutions.
  • Provide supplier and market intelligence information and analysis to enable effective long-term decision-making and manage risk.
  • Set up and maintain automated data processes.
  • Identify, evaluate and implement solutions to support large volume data validation and cleansing.
  • Monitor and audit data quality.
  • Design and carry out surveys and analyse survey data.
  • Focus on leading indicators and improving the function through effective analysis and reporting.
  • Mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management.
  • Active participation in cross business working to support development of data management processes and process policies.

Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required  

  • Good knowledge in analytics and reporting covering complex range of sub disciplines including – process, performance and supplier risk management.
  • MS Office proficient, with expert level in MS Excel and Power BI.
  • Methodical and diligent with good planning abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills, including the proven ability to influence at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Able to work unsupervised and can operate well as part of a team.
  • An understanding of Supply Chain and Procurement principles, techniques and practices
  • Self-motivated, able to identify & drive key issues.
  • Demonstrate collaborative and supportive behaviours. The ability to build strong and trusted relationships to achieve objectives.
