**Department**:
The HSE department is focused on making the world a better place today and also on protecting it for future generations. For this purpose, we HSE professionals working for Vestas in the areas of Safety, Environment, Corporate Social Responsibility and Security throughout the world. We are looking for a Health and Safety Environment (HSE) Coordinator to join the Construction Installation and Commissioning department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Live the HSE culture by raising safety awareness and performing emergency exercises, drills, and campaigns
- Support the Project HSE Manager by ensuring HSE procedures are communicated and followed
- Support management in managing incidents and corrective / preventive actions and in daily administrative tasks associated with HSE
- Provide HSE support during TBT, internal and external audits, and meetings
- Report observations / incidents and provide constructive feedback on HSE reports
- Ensure compliance to HSE legislation in the country of operations concerning annual assessments, permits and audits
- Ensure implementation, correct use and continuous improvement of working procedures and risk assessments

**Qualifications**:

- You should hold relevant education within HSE: NEBOSH or IOSH and Offshore Medical Certificate. Global Wind Organisation (GWO) qualifications would be an advantage
- Previous experience in a leading HSE role within production, construction, or maritime environment
- You should be experienced in implementing HSE policies and skilled in Risk Assessment management systems
- Knowledge of HSE legislation, COSHH and the implementation of appropriate control processes
- You can interpret government approved codes of practices to ensure legal compliance
- You should have good understanding of lifting operations and associated regulations as well as for the maritime and offshore environment and working conditions
- Have a good understanding of the UK Construction, Design and Management Regulations
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written

- You have a HSE orientated mindset
