**Housing Officer (Young Person supported accommodation)** - £29,000 - £31,900 per annum (Salaries vary depending on experiences)

**Hours** - 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
The Housing team are looking for two enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join their team to work alongside Progression Coaches supporting our Young residents aged between 16-24 and working alongside our Support Workers supporting our residents in Adult Services.

The role focuses on all aspects of tenancy sustainment but for a small patch of approx. 30 HMO properties. This means you will be able to work more closely with your tenants in partnership with support workers to ensure delivery of excellent housing management services to Response tenants.

**Overall job responsibility**. Some of the core duties include:

- To provide comprehensive, person centred housing and tenancy management services across a patch of approx. 30 properties
- To provide advice and information to residents and support workers on all tenancy matters including income maximisation
- Carry out regular inspections which will assist Response to monitor Health and Safety, grounds maintenance, repairs and maintenance and other estate / block services.
- To liaise with Maintenance Team and report any repairs identified during the visits to the property.
- To liaise with Response colleagues and others to improve the quality of the environment and ensure tenancy conditions are met.
- Ensure that preventative actions are taken to avoid tenancy breakdown. Enforcing occupancy agreement conditions by managing anti-social behaviour, including rare occasions when court action is required.
- Ensuring the accurate records are kept and maintained for reporting and legal purposes.

- Knowledge/experience in housing and estate management or support work.
- The ability to work with others to find solutions and problem solve
- Good experience and skills of working and communicating well with a range of residents bringing diplomacy, sensitivity and tact to handling difficult situations.
- Good self-servicing IT skills with sound knowledge of MS Office (word, excel and outlook)
- Use of a car and a full driving licence is essential.
