Oxford, United Kingdom Aster Group Full time

If you’re looking for a job that truly never does have two days the same, then look no further.

You’ll be out in our communities, working with our customers and colleagues to provide safe and reliable landlord services. You’ll experience a mixture of housing management related queries, working as part of the housing team in Hampshire, covering Oxfordshire, from Shrivenham on the Wiltshire border through to Witney, Wantage and Abingdon.

**What you’ll be doing**

You’ll oversee and manage a specific geographical patch of multi-tenure properties looking after tenancy and estate management, lettings, and anti-social behaviour so you’ll be experienced in all areas of housing management,

As mentioned, you’re unlikely to have two days of the same and most likely, no day will go as planned due to the variety and pace of the workload, so being flexible in your approach to work is essential. You’ll be juggling priorities and casework and you’ll thrive on the challenge of the role.

You’ll be regularly speaking with our customers on the phone, face to face and by letter so being able to deliver messages in a clear way and managing expectations will come naturally to you. You’ll also be working with loads of teams internally too, including the wider housing teams and our repairs and maintenance colleagues, so you’ll build up a strong support network quickly. There’ll also be contact with external agencies such as the police, local authorities, and social services.

**About you**

You’ll be resilient and able to manage a changing workload at a moment’s notice whilst meeting deadlines. Time management will be a strong skill of yours. You’ll be confident using IT specifically Microsoft office software and housing management databases. If you have experience of using CBL systems for shortlisting and allocating that would be an advantage.

You’ll be confident delivering outcomes to customers and liaising with a variety of people to get the job done. Having a focus on customer service is instrumental in everything you’ll do.

You’ll be out and about in our communities, so access to vehicle for work and a full UK driving licence is essential. When not out and about in our communities you’ll be able to work from home or the office whichever suits you, our main HUB in Hampshire is in Andover and there will be times that you visit the office for team meetings, collaborative working and training.

**What’s in it for me**

We invest in our colleagues because we know if they have a better day at work, the service our customers receive will be better. The Aster Offer is our offer to our colleagues to ensure they have a great day at work and includes things like:

- Flexible working - whilst some roles need to be carried out in a specific place at a specific time, where possible we encourage our colleagues to work to their own schedule at a location that suits them, their team and our business’ needs
- A focus on colleague wellbeing - workshops, an employee assistance programme offering counselling and support, mental health training and a health cash plan
- We invest in colleagues’ careers and development through our leader and colleague development frameworks
- Defined Contribution Pension and attached life assurance
- Volunteering hours available to all colleagues to enable them to give back
- Savings at cinemas, gyms, holidays, days out, various shops and eateries and lots more
- Enhanced leave
- We celebrate colleagues who go above and beyond with a range of personalised recognition initiatives, and monthly and annual awards.

**Ready to apply?**

To apply, please use information provided in the advert and role profile to let us know why you’d be good for the job. Please submit a copy of your up-to-date CV along with a supporting statement.

We create an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity and believe that creating an environment where everyone, from any background, can do their best work is the right thing to do.
