Commercial Administrator

As a Commercial Administrator at RS Safety Solutions, you will be supporting the maintenance and development a large portfolio of PPE products. From day one you will be working with external suppliers to understand vital information about their products to ensure we can meet the needs of our customers in the most cost-effective way possible.
Internally you will also become part of a team of Procurement experts and have exposure to the complete lifecycle of a product starting with supplier strategy, product approvals and range reviews through to product discontinuations and switch outs.
**What you will be doing**:
Reporting into our Senior Category Manager, you will be responding to any product related queries ensuring that they are dealt with accurately and as quickly as possible. Speaking directly with suppliers to source new products, requesting vital information such as specifications, cost prices and lead times.
You will be sourcing alternative products quickly and efficiently, providing the customer with a suitable resolution when the regular product they purchase may be unavailable. Adding new products to the range, ensuring all associated information is populated precisely and working alongside our Finance team to uncover the root cause of any invoice discrepancies we have received and rectifying as quickly as possible to prevent any unnecessary costs to the business.
