Job Title: Commercial Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Esh Group.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial management of contracts, including procurement, contract administration, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit Interim Valuations and Final Accounts
  • Procure sub-contractors in line with company policy and target programme requirements
  • Administer sub-contracts, including progress meetings, delay evaluation, and variations
  • Assess and pay sub-contractors' applications and issue payment notifications
  • Finalize Account agreements for sub-contract accounts
  • Measure quantities on site and from drawings
  • Evaluate variations and provisional sum expenditure
  • Monitor and control material costs
  • Produce internal valuations, sub-contract liabilities, and cost value reconciliations
  • Work closely with the Site Manager and delivery team to monitor progress and margin
  • Ensure accurate and high-quality records are maintained
Requirements:
  • Relevant HND or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working on projects in the relevant sector
Personal Skills:
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently
  • Polite and approachable at all times
