**Assistant SEND Preparing for Adulthood Officer**:
The SEN team is responsible for carrying out Education Health & Care (EHC) needs assessments, issuing and maintaining EHC plans and coordinating the educational placement of children and young people with SEND. This team is dedicated to moving forward with continuous improvement and working towards robust and positive outcomes for our children and young people.
We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant SEND Preparing for Adulthood (PfA) Officer to act as the first point of contact for all general PfA SEND enquiries from young people, Schools and Post 16 Education and Training providers. With this in mind, experience of liaising with children and young people, families and professionals, together with experience of SEN PfA processes and legislation is essential as is an ability to work to tight deadlines. The ability to use the Synergy education management software is desirable.
