Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Specialist SEND school in Wallington. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting children with profound and multiple learning disabilities and will be able to work effectively with a small class of pupils.

The Role:

In this role, you will be working with a small class of pupils who have profound and multiple learning disabilities and severe learning disabilities. You will be working with various pupils on a 1 to 1 basis and providing all round care and learning support for the class. You should have an understanding of working with children with special needs from previous roles and have a true passion for supporting pupils to succeed in all areas of learning.

The School:

This Specialist SEND school offers children with profound and multiple learning difficulties a specialist learning environment and all the support they require to make progress. A key focus of their curriculum is to provide learning experiences that will develop the whole child / young person to be as independent as possible, gain skills and knowledge that will prepare them for adulthood and an enriching life.
