About the Job

RIBBONS AND REEVES is seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist SEND school in Merton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide individualized support to students with high-functioning autism, focusing on their emotional and academic development.
  • To act as a Key Worker, creating a supportive environment and implementing tailored strategies to meet students' unique needs.
  • To aid students in developing social skills, self-regulation, and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field with a strong interest in autism support.
  • Empathy, patience, and adaptability.
  • Previous experience in an autism-focused or SEND school setting is desirable.
