**Key Responsibilities**:
**Road Vehicle Administration**:

- Administer road vehicles in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage MOTs and taxation for the company's fleet of vehicles.
- Schedule and book MOT appointments in a timely manner.
- Handle vehicle taxation processes, including renewals, insurance, and updates.
- Process SORN declarations for vehicles not in use on public roads.
- Generate monthly audit reports detailing the status of all company vehicles.
- Manage fines related to parking and speeding violations.

**Damage Inspection**:

- Inspect off-hired items of plant equipment for damages and wear and tear.
- Notify customers promptly regarding any damages found during inspection.
- Price jobs accurately based on the extent of damage and repair required.
- Negotiate final costs with customers and resolve disputes professionally while ensuring fairness and transparency.
- Obtain order numbers for repair work and maintain detailed records of transactions.
- Handle confrontational situations with confidence and diplomacy.

**Wash Bay Valeting Coordination**:

- Allocate jobs to the valet team, managing 3 operatives at a time, based on workflow and demand.
- Book jobs onto the app and manage production times effectively.
- Ensure quality standards are met and maintain health and safety protocols.
- Manage and develop the valet team, providing coaching and addressing HR issues.
- Handle recruitment and training of new team members as needed.
- Manage COSHH requirements and ensure SOPs are followed.
- Report weekly on KPIs to senior management.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in using telephone systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle complex situations with ease.
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and drive results.
- Previous experience managing a team, with demonstrated leadership and coaching skills, managing 3 operatives at a time.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the role, with a proactive "can do" approach to making things happen.
- Strong communication skills, both internally with other departments and externally with clients, are essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in the areas of plant equipment, wagons, and cars.
- Willingness to support the workshop manager and provide cover as needed.

**Work Hours**:

- 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Half-hour lunch break.

**Holidays**:

- 23 days of holidays per year.
