**AML/ KYC Client Onboarding & Remediation (Part Time, permanent): Equity focused Investment Bank**

Martis Search is representing a boutique Equity focused Investment Bank to hire a permanent AML/ KYC Client Onboarding & Remediation Analyst on a full time basis.

The company trade Equities to Institutional clients such as Asset Managers and Hedge Funds and there is also a small Private client/ Wealth Management business. The business also have a Corporate Finance/ M & A division.

The position sits within their small Equity Operations division and requires someone to have good working experience of both AML/ KYC Client Onboarding & Remediation. The chosen incumbent will be the sole person doing the AML/ KYC Client Onboarding & Remediation. The role is not isolated, as you will still be part of the Equity Operation team, working closely with then, as well as Compliance, Legal, Front Office Sales and trading etc.

Due to the volume of new clients coming onboard and existing clients to be remediated, the role is a one person position and requires to only work either 3, or 4-days per week. Our client is flexible on what days you work and will work around you (some flexibility will also be needed from your side as/ when business requirements and trade volumes increase, requiring you to work specific days).

The company have acquired a AML/ KYC Client Onboarding system, so as well the BAU day-to-day Client Onboarding and Remediation, you will be expected to help do related project and process improvement work on the system.

You must have relevant AML/ KYC Client Onboarding & Remediation experience, ideally gained from an Equity focused Investment Bank, or Brokerage/ trading company, but also have a genuine reason from wanting to work part time on a permanent basis. It will not work from our client if you are just wanting part time employment for a few months until a 5-day per week arises.

The role is also hybrid, so you will be able to work-from, as well as in the office.

Main purpose:
Undertake due diligence processes to understand the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) risks within client relationships to ensure that appropriate Know Your Client (KYC) requirements, agreements and other due diligence information are obtained and maintained in accordance with internal and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities:
1) Manage new business requests received from the Front Office and oversee the KYC process end to end

2) Complete due diligence on new and existing accounts to ensure compliance with AML / KYC policies

3) Establish and maintain trusted relationships with clients to facilitate and accelerate the onboarding processes

4) Provide guidance to the front office with regards to on-boarding polices and account initiation

5) Resolve ad-hoc queries related to all aspects of AML, highlighting and escalating issues as appropriate

6) Perform periodic reviews of accounts

7) Liaise regularly with Front Office to conduct workload planning, review status of key onboarding’s and prioritise outstanding requests

8) Identify process improvements, provide guidance on key processes and technology initiatives to the business

Minimum Requirements:

- 1+ year professional experience in a KYC/client on boarding or in a similar role
- Proficient in MS office

**Salary**

£35 k pa - £60 k pa, dependent upon experience, plus bonus, pension, healthcare etc.
