**Vehicle Preparation Co-Ordinator (Part-time)**

***Job summary**:
***Join our dynamic team in a new and exciting part-time role, reporting directly to the Sales Manager.

As the Vehicle Preparation Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in our operations, focusing on coordinating the preparation of used vehicles. Your responsibilities include arranging vehicle preparation at designated centres post-merchandising, ensuring timely and efficient processing while they are in stock. You will collaborate closely with colleagues and customers across multiple locations, facilitating smooth communication and coordination with workshop managers to oversee mechanical preparation.

This position offers flexibility, working Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00.

***Key Responsibilities will include**:

- Coordinating the preparation of used vehicles after merchandising.
- Liaising with workshop managers to ensure timely mechanical preparation.
- Managing logistics for transporting batches of vehicles to and from preparation centres.
- Collaborating with the compound team and vehicle progressor to streamline vehicle readiness for preparation.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for customer-reported mechanical issues post-purchase, scheduling appointments with workshops for resolution and arranging loan vehicles, as necessary.
- Performing essential administrative tasks within the organisation.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues, customers, and external partners.
- Exceptional organizational abilities to manage logistics and scheduling efficiently.
- Forward-thinking mindset to anticipate and resolve potential challenges.
- Problem-solving skills to address mechanical issues promptly and effectively.
- Friendly customer service orientation to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple workshops.
- An automotive or technical background would be advantageous, although not essential. Full training will be provided to support your success in this role.
