**This is the job**:
As **Technical Support Specialist**, you’ll be responsible for coordinating, resolving and providing technical advice to customers, Team Members and our garage network as well as managing technical interfaces with stakeholders. You will work closely with our Operations Centre Teams, as well as our garage network and discuss findings and technical issues that may have arisen.

**What will I be doing?**:

- Understanding and diagnosing of technical mechanical problems and being proficient in translating findings and results to customers
- Supporting the Operations teams to ensure Prestige reduces their risk by dealing with and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with technical suppliers and customers in a nature that suits their technical knowledge.
- Audit the creation of quotes to provide the best quote base on the delivery time, price, and quality and to ensure adherence to documented process and procedures.
- Managing technical interfaces with stakeholders to include garage dealers, customers, and network garages.
- Build effective relations with part suppliers and garages to obtain best quotes for Prestige customers

**What do I need?**:
**Capability, Knowledge, and Experience**:

- A high level of understanding of vehicle maintenance
- Drive and determination to achieve agreed targets
- Assistance in complaint handling linked to technical cases
- The ability to work without close supervision often under pressure and to tight deadlines

**Education and Qualifications**:

- Mechanical (Automotive) at least a NVQ level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair qualification.
- A good level of IT literacy and experience Using MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

**Personal Characteristics**:

- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work in an objective and consultative manner with all audience levels
- Able to identify, evaluate & advocate client needs and requirements
- A self-starter with high levels of self-motivation, energy, and initiative
