About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with individuals who have experienced mental health problems, providing them with support, guidance, and companionship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to service users experiencing mental health problems
  • Establish and maintain positive, respectful relationships with all individuals you come into contact with
  • Deliver peer support, maintaining professional boundaries and promoting a culture of empathy and trust
  • Help service users identify and work towards their recovery goals
  • Support service users to overcome fears and anxieties within a safe and supportive environment
  • Undertake administrative duties to ensure effective and timely care, including updating patient records
Requirements
