Dundonald Nurseries are currently recruiting for a number of seasonal positions to help over the upcoming busy Spring period.

An exciting opportunity to work as part of our wholesale team, serving major supermarkets in NI with bedding plants, planted containers and seasonal products, in an outdoor environment, but still have shelter from the elements.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our production teams. The purpose of the role is to carry out duties and tasks required throughout the production process of various different plants and planted containers.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Function as part of a team with good communication and teamwork skills
- Fulfil required tasks on production lines, potting machines and transplanters, including but not limited to labelling, planting, inputting trays etc.
- Assist with setting down and picking up of finished bedding plants from greenhouse beds
- Assist with the cleaning and looking after of plants
- Clean and tidy work areas and nursery sites
- Fulfil tasks involving trolleys and order picking
- Loading lorries and wrapping trolleys
- Ensure instructions for tasks given are followed, focus needs to be on product quality throughout
- Report any quality issues to your line leader or manager
- Report any H&S concerns to your line leader or manager
- Develop a good working relationship with colleagues
- Strive for excellence throughout the processes and set a good example for others
- Embrace and exhibit the Dundonald Nurseries Core Values

WORKING PATTERN
- Core hours are 40hrs per week, 8am - 4.30pm, Mon-Fri
- 20 minute paid break morning and 10 minute afternoon
- 1/2 hour unpaid lunch break

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: From £10.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
