**What you’ll do**

You will work as part of an existing Energy Team as a UK Networks Energy Specialist you'll support, regulate and implement initiatives and monitor energy usage across the technology estate. Your aim will be to meet and exceed financial targets, improve efficiency by evaluating energy use and implementing new policies, practices, regulatory and technology where needed.

You will co-ordinate all aspects of UK Networks energy management, from reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, legislation adherence, procurement and sustainable development.

**Who you are**
- Highly numerate with a robust and logical approach to problem solving and decision making together with secure financial skills.
- Knowledge of financial appraisals of energy projects
- Experience of analysing energy data using tools such as Excel and other packages
- Good networking and engagement skills, capacity to work with virtual teams in a complex environment.
- Ability to support the preparation of proposals, reports and data
- Good knowledge of technical energy management preferably in a telecommunications or technology environment
- Knowledge and experience of mechanical and electrical services and systems highly beneficial.
