**Saturdays and nights £31.37 per hour**

**Sundays and bank holidays £37.64 per hour**

Contract length - on going - bank shifts

Working hours **- **Mon - Fri (09:00 - 17:00)

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- To contribute to improvements in the quality and safety of services for our patients and service users, drawing on information and learning from the various sources in and external to the Trust.
- Incident review, coding, investigation and follow up
- Serious Incident investigation support and scrutiny
- Facilitation of After Action Reviews
- Attend Divisional governance meetings
- Provide timely information reports
- Co-ordinate the management of Patient Safety Alerts
- Incident review training
- Undertake and support Quality Improvement projects
- Presentations and report writing
- Deputise for Head of Effectiveness & Deputy Director of Quality where appropriate.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

**You’ll have the following qualification/experience**:

- Graduate and/or professional qualification or relevant equivalent experience.
- Clinical qualification e.g. Midwifery, Nursing, Allied Health Professional.
- Professional training in Root Cause Analysis/SI investigations.
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
- Evidence of managing change.
- Previous NHS experience.
- Experience of clinical risk assessment.
- High level of experience of handling patient safety, quality and clinical governance matters.
- Proven experience of incident management and use of risk management systems.
- Proven experience in use of root cause analysis and other patient safety tools.
- Proven experience of undertaking investigations of complaints/incidents.
- Proven experience of report writing, presentations, group facilitation and minute taking
- Experience of risk registers.
- Proven experience of reporting, investigating and making changes as a result of complaints, incidents, PALs concerns
