An exciting opportunity to join our Enterprise & Operational Risk team in Manchester

IN SHORT

The main objective of the Operational Risk Team is to support the objectives of SEFE Energy through proactive identification, reporting, analysis and control of operational risks across the business. The jobholder will be expected to continually liaise with stakeholders across commercial and operations; ensuring that key analysis and information is available and appropriately coordinated throughout the business.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Operation of key daily and weekly operational risk controls and monitoring processes.
- Support the incident management programme:

- Respond to incidents timely, drafting details of incidents accurately following investigation and administration of the incident management system.
- Support in producing operational risk content and materials for monthly and ad-hoc management
- Support administration activities of the SEFE Energy Business Continuity Programme
- Providing independent analysis on risk and control aspects of the incident to provide appropriate recommendations, capture all action details, track statuses and record resolutions.
- Support implementation of key change projects for the Enterprise and Operational risk team
- Support in the development of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Risk & Control Self Assessments (RCSAs)

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders in a clear, concise and insightful manner;
- Attentive and seeks to understand others views with the ability to communicate complex issues.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong MS Office skills, proficient MS Excel skills and Power BI experience would be advantageous.
- Reliable and diligent.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team orientated environment.
- Ability to work effectively in an environment where priorities can change at sometimes short notice
- Role would suit a graduate with 1-2 years relevant experience
