**The role**:
The Head of Business Analysis at RedCloud will lead a team of Business Analysts responsible for translating product initiatives into comprehensive requirements, user stories, and journey maps. This role involves aligning product strategy with development execution by collaboratively engaging with cross-functional teams. The Head of Business Analysis will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful project management, maintaining high-quality deliverables, and fostering the growth of the business analysis function.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 6 Business Analysts, with potential for further growth.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Strategy team to convert initiatives into detailed requirements and user stories, facilitating efficient development.
- Oversee the translation of product initiatives into actionable tasks for developers, ensuring alignment and feasibility.
- Prioritise and manage incoming BA requests, balancing hands-on work with managing team workload.
- Provide quality checks on the work of the Business Analysts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Drive project management for the Business Analysis function, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication.
- Engage in hands-on BA work when necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to the team's strategic planning and growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of product strategy and development.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience as a Business Analyst with a track record of career progression.
- Possess the ability to lead and manage a team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Strong technical background, ideally within financial services, payments, or e-commerce domains.
- Project management expertise, ensuring timely and efficient execution of BA initiatives.
- Ability to balance hands-on BA work with managerial responsibilities.
- Proven experience in translating high-level product initiatives into actionable development requirements.
