**Job Description**:

- Join us as a Land & Legal Administrator where you will provide support to the Land and Minerals, Estates and Legal Team with administrative duties.

Key duties include;
- Support the Head of Land and Sustainability, Estates Manager and Land and Minerals team in their duties.
- Undertake administrative duties as required by the wider Land, Environment and Planning Team and the Legal Team
- Liaison with associated external parties, mineral holders and/or their legal representatives, other agreement holders, external agencies.
- Assist Land and Mineral Rights Technical Officer in updating the MTS and mineral database in order to maintain accurate landowner details.
- Regular contact with landowners to ensure that correct details are held on all records.
- Assist the Land and Mineral Rights Technical Officer and Land and Minerals Coordinator with quarterly mineral lease payments.
- Take day-to-day responsibility for land related SAP transactions.
- Support the Team in facilitating purchase requisitions to ensure timely payments are made in line with legal obligations.
- Liaison with the Finance Team with regard to mineral payments, invoices and expense claims.
- Undertake annual mail merge to all mineral holders re Certain Rent payments.
- Undertake weekly checks of local press obituaries regarding mineral owners and follow-up actions in accordance with the Deceased Persons Protocol
- Maintain, populate and develop an efficient filing system, both paper and electronic.
- Prepare expense claims on behalf of the wider team
- Any other administrative duties as directed
- Qualifications
- GCSE level achieved
- Experience of working within a professional/legal environment.
- Demonstrate previous administration experience.
- Working knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc) and document production skills including ability to produce and amend legal documents, forms and correspondence.
- Must be able to work with diverse groups and personalities.
- Must be able to take direction and follow instructions closely.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Self-confidence, motivation, and strong leadership and organizational skills.
