We are recruiting for an Administrator for our public sector client. You will provide a comprehensive range of admin duties to support the Special Educational Needs Assessment and Review Team (SENART).
Hours of work - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (Office Based - with free parking)
Main Duties:
- To provide general admin support for Special Educational Needs Assessment and Review Team (SENART)
- Provide an efficient service using an electronic document management system
- Ensure a good foundation of administrative support for the Special Educational Needs statutory processes
- Answer telephone queries from parents/ carers and professionals, enter information onto document management system
Personal Spec:
- Administration experience within a similar role
- 4 GCSEs or equivalent A* to C - including English and Maths
- ECDL or equivalent ICT qualification, or equivalent relevant experience in the use of ICT, including Word, Excel, databases, and electronic file creation
- Knowledge of Data Protection, and working in a confidential environment
- Awareness of safeguarding policies and procedures
- Knowledge of SEN legislation and provision
- Experience and confidence in use of Microsoft Office
- Experience of organising and minuting meetings
- Able to work as part of a team
- Experience dealing with members of the public and appropriate agencies to offer initial advice and guidance via the phone
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent telephone skills and able to handle calls confidently and professionally
