**The Role**:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Branch Merchandising team as an Assistant Branch Merchandiser. The role will be working closely with the Junior Branch Merchandiser to support the running of the department and overseeing our Allocators.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with the team to manage stock levels, plan execute initial allocations and in-season replenishment.
- Liaise with the warehouse team to maintain all elements of the critical path.
- Review branch performance using different KPls and identify sales opportunities and risks.
- Go through the weekly line by line report in detail and suggest any in-season stock movement between channels to potentialize sales.
- Identify underperforming areas, make recommendations to the JBM and challenge the retail team to drive sales.
- Supervise transfers back to the warehouse on an ad hoc basis.
- Execute markdown and promotional activity, running any necessary analysis of performance.
- Fully manage stock takes - create spreadsheets, liaise with branches, send variance reports, etc.
- Complete stock reconciliation on a monthly basis to present to JBM, ensuring any corrective actions are completed as soon as possible and updating Finance on a quarterly basis
- Ensure product launches go as smoothly as possible, whilst minimising non-compliances and blank sales.
- Maintain data accuracy from both a sales and stock perspective.
- Oversee the day to day running of the Allocators roles and leading all aspects of the training for new starters.
- Ensure that web checks are carried out regularly and thoroughly, providing regular updates on drop availability.
- Carry out detailed ad-hoc analysis when required.
- Act as the key point of contact for the Retail team to handle ad hoc queries.
- Deputise for the JBM where necessary.

**The Person**:

- Previous experience at Assistant Merchandiser level.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, especially using Excel.
- Ability to multitask, maintain focus under pressure and work to tight deadlines.
- Proactive, 'Can do' attitude.
- Ability to always ensure accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and an interest in fashion retail.
