We want our students to have the best possible experience during their time in The Sheffield College and we are looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Learner Support Assistants to assist in the educational and social development, and support the personal care needs, of students with a wide range of needs.

**The role of Sessional Learner Support Assistant is ideal if you**:

- Want a varied role where every day is different
- Want to be a part of a team providing SEND support to our students.
- Want to support access to education for all by being inclusive.

**Day-to-day you will be responsible for**:

- Providing effective and consistent support in and out of class
- Routine administrative tasks associated with the above duties, including record keeping;
- Meeting the support needs including intimate personal support of individual learners, in the classroom and out of class situations;
**After your first year with us, success would look like**:

- Built relationships with students, SEND team, teaching staff and mentors
- Experience and knowledge working with special educational needs and disabilities
