You will work as part of a pharmacy team under the direction of a registered pharmacist. Your role will involve providing pharmacy services to our patients; dispensing processes, preparing dossette trays, various admin duties and interacting with our patients either face-to-face or over the phone. Training will be provided but previous pharmacy experience will be beneficial.
- Hold a valid full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
- Must be responsible, accurate and methodical
- Must be able to pay attention to detail
- Have excellent communication skills, customer service and good IT skills
- To be able to work well in stressful scenarios and manage their workload.

**Duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Label, dispense and endorse prescriptions in line with standard operating procedures to ensure safe supply to patients in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Assist where necessary with delivering medications to housebound patients to their homes (temporarily).
- Ensure the safe supply and appropriate storage of medicines.
- Ordering enough medication and stock in line with company procedures to meet customer demand and date checking to maximise availability and minimise waste.
- Assist where necessary with the preparation of dossette trays to benefit patients on multiple medication regimes.
- Process invoices and paperwork in a timely manner following company procedures.
- Undertake all necessary housekeeping duties to ensure that dispensary and back shop areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Work as part of a team and actively demonstrate a willingness to support and achieve the overall business objectives.
- Follow till processes including sales of over the counter medication, pharmacy merchandise and collecting necessary charges.
- Receive and hand out prescriptions under the supervision of a Responsible Pharmacist.

Hours: Mon - Fri (9am - 6pm) with a 1 hour unpaid break daily & every other Saturday (9am - 1pm).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
