**The UK has set out its ambition to be net zero by 2050 and the energy industry is responding - together we are building a cleaner, greener Britain.**

Within the ESO we are looking to recruit an expert within reporting and collating data on excel to work closely with both the finance team and the regulatory reporting team. You will ideally have intermediate excel skills with an ability to work with large amounts of data. You will be able to work timely and accurately as well as working well as part of a team.

This role will be ideally based in Warwick. We continue to offer hybrid working from office and home. We are open to full time and part time applicants, as well as flexible working arrangements.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Responsible for co-ordinating the finance inputs for annual regulatory finance submissions.
- Support embedding the system and process changes to ensure submission of accurate and timely data to Ofgem. Be the main point of contact for Ofgem with respect to RRP (Regulatory Reporting Pack) financial data table queries and changes.
- Be the key finance point of contact for DAG (Data Assurance Guidance) assessments - an Ofgem requirement - to ensure that finance processes have the necessary controls in place to provide the appropriate level of assurance.
- Work with the ESO Controllership team to ensure automated reporting is accurate and complete on an ongoing basis.
- Ensure timely and accurate population of reporting tables and work alongside ESO Finance Business Partners (FBPs) to provide insightful narrative and further analysis of costs where required.
- Support the bi-annual ESO regulatory business planning process, through co-ordination of data table inputs and ownership of overall cost control totals.
- Be an active member of the National Grid regulatory finance community to share best practice and develop regulatory understanding whilst maintaining principles of legal separation.
- Support the delivery of change across ESO FBPs and the business as we transition to BP2 (the second Business Plan period under the current price control framework) and FSO (Future System Operator, the reference given to when the ESO transfers from National Grid ownership to full independence), role-modelling new ways of working and sharing regulatory financial knowledge to drive the improvement of long-term business capability.

This role offers a competitive salary between £42,000 - £48,000 dependent on capability. As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
