We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to be right at the forefront of National Grid and how the energy sector works financially.

You’ll build a knowledge base of regulatory finance, including current practice, regulatory precedents, and new developments. You will support the review of regulatory consultations and development of National Grid responses and regulatory strategies. You’ll create excel models to help provide insight to regulatory finance decisions and strategies and review reports from external advisors, providing feedback to the advisors or contributing to consultation responses. Key to this role is developing an understanding of all financial aspects of the RIIO contract including the regulatory licence, Price Control Financial Model, Price Control Financial Handbook, PCFM Guidance, tax allowances and the cost of capital.

**About You**:
You’re a Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent with solid financial modelling experience. You understand economics, cost of capital components and credit rating agency methodologies and ideally have some regulatory knowledge and/or experience (not essential). You like to understand and be in the detail and can explain complex concepts to non-experts. Additionally, you’ll bring with you your strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.

**What You'll Get**:
£55,000 - £65,000 per annum - dependent on experience.
