Ascend Airways will begin operating a small fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft (NG and MAX) in the ACMI market, opening its first operational base at London Gatwick in early 2024. The company is founded on the legacy of Synergy Aviation, a respected UK AOC holder, which has been acquired by Avia Solutions Group, already the world’s largest ACMI provider.

Our objective is to offer ACMI and charter customers a modern fleet of UK based aircraft and crews to meet their capacity requirements, while aligning our business decisions with the UK’s Jet Zero strategy. We want a reputation for operating to the highest standards of safety and providing the best customer service.

**Role**:
Reporting to the Fleet Technical Manager and responsible for:

- Ensure that the aircraft Technical Logs and essential documents folder are kept up to date.
- The administration of all technical documentation to ensure that all airworthiness data is correctly routed to the intended recipient.
- Development and control of the Technical Library Systems, including ensuring that all subscription renewals for manuals held by the company are made on time and that all material is supplied in the correct format as ordered.
- Being the central point of control for the MyBoeingFleet and CFMi documentation IT systems and the control of assignments to outsourced service providers.
- Maintaining the technical library, including control of amendment recording, incorporation and distribution, transmittal of amendments to copy holders of company manuals.
- Monitoring of regulator websites for the new issue of Airworthiness Directives and other such airworthiness mandates and changes.
- In conjunction with the Engineering management group, the production and issue of all internal company documentation developed to support the CAM activities of the company.
- Monitor SAFA findings and closure actions.
- Ensure that the Maintenance Statements and Out Of Phase maintenance requirement sheets and routed from the CAM services provider to the individual aircraft.
- Production and administration of Maintenance Program Variation requests and Repair Interval Extensions.
- Support the company CAM team during regulator, internal compliance and customer audits.
- Technical reporting to the aircraft lessors and document preparation for lessor audits.
- Assist the Head of Supply Chain with administrative duties and control of the supplier database.
- All other administrative duties resulting from the activities of the CAM department.
- Administrator for the control and issue of passwords for external websites.
- Any other duties as requested by the Technical Director or Technical Fleet Manager.
- Previous experience in an aviation technical administrator role would be beneficial.
- Experience in a technical administration role essential or recent qualification in an aviation technical course or degree.
- Must be able to work as part of a team.
- Analytical mind with problem solving skills.
