**Business Overview**:
We are a supplier of specialist safety warning systems for mobile plant based in Dorset but serving the whole of the UK. We are growing fast and have a number of highly prestigious clients. We are currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to work in our small production and shipping facility completing basic electronic assemblies, packing and preparing products for despatch and data entry.

**The role**:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on, data administrator who really enjoys data. Working as part of a busy and dynamic team, reporting to the Operations Director, this role is key to the day-to-day coordination of core databases, information capture where significant attention to detail is required.

**Responsibilities include**:
**General**

Responsible for verifying, updating and inputting information to our respective databases, specifically:
Regular updating of company databases and supporting spreadsheets. Compile and maintain multiple datapoints. Control records covering our products and telematics databases, making updates and corrections where required. Issue daily, weekly and monthly progress reports to the management team. Ensure data integrity is highly accurate by using careful cross checking analysis. Answering queries relating to information held on the databases.

Day to day administrative duties also include the coordinating and cleansing key data sets to ensure core information is maintained and organised for the smooth running of the business and to assist new business activity

**Data categories**:
**Component supplies data (goods-in)**

Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; preparing purchase orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies and maintaining up to date bills of material

**Product Shipment data**

Maintain accurate database of serial numbers for all product shipped to customers and Field Engineers including products and components for sales, trials and demonstrations

**Product Returns data**

Maintain accurate database of serial numbers for all product returned from customers and Field Engineers. This includes product categorisation such as test and refurbishment, repairs, warranty claims, damage and disposal.

**Warranty data administration**

Coordinate warranty returns to suppliers. Track and follow-up

**Field Engineer activity**

Consolidate engineer reports (CSV and Excel downloads). Check data integrity. Transfer data to company databases for other functions to access and utilise. Chase late submissions from Field Engineers. Administer, edit and improve of report formats within the Field Engineers portal

**Customer Dashboards**

Input data updates, carry out customer data admin, ensure report accuracy and provide analysis and reporting for both internal and external stakeholders
- Previous data administration or experience in a similar environment
- Exceptional data entry skills and attention to detailed.
- Proactive approach to problem solving
- Ability to multi-task, work and manage your time independently as well as being able to work as part of a team.
- Proactive and resourceful with excellent organisational and time management skills
- Approachable and helpful with a sense of humour and great communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experienced in MS Office in particular high level of competancy in Excel and a good working knowledge of Access, Power BI and Word.
- Experience of databases and comfortable learning and administering multiple 3rd party data portals
- Self
- motivated, reliable, enthusiastic and energetic, with outstanding teamwork and interpersonal skills.
