Digital Product Specialist

**Summary**
The Digital Product Specialist a crucial part of the Pan-EU Digital Sales enabling the coordinated push into Pan-EU Professional Marketplaces and 3rd party distribution partnerships generating, driving and scaling digital revenue streams in these channels.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Own and enhance the Pan-EU Product information Management Platform
- Analyse and understand the Professional European Marketplace landscape and provide + execute an aligned & prioritized enter-strategy
- Initiate, support and maintain strategic 3rd party & Marketplace partnerships in close collaboration with the Pan-EU sales management teams & related stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with internal and Pan-EU stakeholders to ensure accuracy and readiness of holistic product information
- Initiate and support creation of product listings incl. the related assets such as product images, descriptions, technical documentation, certifications, prices etc.
- Monitor and maintain competitive pricing in the Marketplace and action measures to stay ahead
**Technical Skills**
- Knowledgeable in product data specifications (product, item, attribution etc.)
- SAP S4 HANA basic material setup knowledge is a plus
- High affinity to Microsoft Excel, knowledge with the MS Office 365 package
- GDPR / Compliance related knowledge (online trade, versioning etc.)
- Knowledge of sales & growth related digital metrics and related tools
- Basic understanding of 3rd party ERP and Marketplace data integrations
- Knowledge of web-2-print is a plus
- Experience with Atlassian JIRA or similar is a plus

**Work Experience**
- Product Information Management platform maintenance, enhancement & implementation experience with “inRiver” platform is a plus
- Proven track record of successful B2B marketplace set up & optimization
- Proficiency in using Marketplace platforms and relevant analytics tools
- In-depth knowledge of marketplaces, industry trends, algorithms, and on-site user behaviour
- Digital campaign & advertising experience
- Cross-functional international collaboration experience - corporate B2B is a plus
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing computer science or related field
- 3+ years experience in Marketing and/or Digital Sales related role
**Language Skills**
- Fluent in English
- Additional European languages beneficial (GER, FR, ES, NL, PL, SWE)
**Bonus Skills**
- Experience in the construction industry
- Experience in ecommerce industry
- Experiences with professional niche Marketplace players such as Mano Mano, Fixami, Toolnation, Travis Perkins or similar are a big plus (desirable)
- Experience with Salesforce (either Sales cloud, Commerce Cloud, Pardot, Analytics)
