Job Description Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Customer, Conduct and Policy Application (CC&PA) team, part of Customer, Conduct and Outcomes which sits within Business and Commercial Banking (BCB) Business Risk & Controls Office.

**Job Description**:
Reporting to Director, CC&PA, a core element of the role includes acting as a source of conduct expertise, analysing and evaluating a range of information to produce insightful observations and propose recommendations to continuously improve end to end conduct reporting. Using expertise and insights, the role-holder will collaborate across the team to support and/or lead on the creation and implementation of training and guidance materials to enhance the conduct culture across the business areas.

The successful colleague will need to engage with senior partners and build strong networks, both internally and externally to BCB Risk & Controls Office.

Key Accountabilities:
- Interpret policy and regulation into procedures and guidance to support prevention of foreseeable harm and ensure ongoing compliance- Analyse and evaluate a range of information to produce insightful observations and propose recommendations to continuously improve conduct reporting measures- Work across BCB and CIB to ensure robust conduct metrics are in place throughout the E2E lifecycle- Continuously evaluate conduct, risk & relevant policies, as well as external publications, making recommendations for improvements across the BCB & CIB business where appropriate- Demonstrate thought leadership to influence the strategic direction of the business

- Deep understanding of key conduct and compliance risks- Good understanding of Group Product Policy and Procedure; and Customer Policy- Knowledge of RCSA and continuous risk management- Understanding of Consumer Duty- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy- Experience in building and maintaining positive relationships- Positively influence others by demonstrating core LBG values and behaviours, challenging existing methods and making decisions to achieve safe outcomes for the business- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Good organisational skills with ability to handle contending priorities- Self starter, able to handle complexity and provide options for solutions
