Our client in the education sector is looking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the organisation at the start of its transition to develop and grow the organisation. As the HR Advisor,you will provide the delivery of a proactive, effective and efficient day-to-day HR service, undertaking a range of HR activities including case work, compliance, policy guidance, recruitment on-boarding and work with our strategic HR delivery partner on developingHR practice. The main base for this role is Bury but there will be some travel to other sites in the local area.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Guide and advise managers and employees through all aspects of the employee life cycle
- Manage the implementation and monitoring of Human Resources processes
- Review and develop the Human Resources policies and procedures
- Maintain awareness of current employment legislation and developments.
- Support managers in effective people management developing their capability and confidence.
- Maintain adequate and accurate records to monitor specific training requests from staff Performance Appraisal and Probationary Reviews
- Work proactively with managers to manage and reduce absenteeism
- Provide management information reports relating to Human Resources
- Liaise with and build relationships with local trade union representatives.

**Person Specification**
Education experience is NOT essential
- Demonstrable record of working flexibly and using own initiative
- Be a confident communicator (written and oral)
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
- Have well developed ICT skills
- Work well under pressure, working accurately with attention to detail, and meeting deadlines
- Be flexible

In return you will receive a salary of between £35,000-£40,000 (depending on experience), 27 days holidays plus bank holidays and an excellent pension.
