**Locum Band 6 Neuro Occupational Therapist - South London**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Physiotherapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in South London. They are seeking a qualified OT with previous Neuro experience.
- To provide specialist neurology Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment to clients with an acquired neurological condition as part of the community Neurorehabilitation service.
- To participate in the Single Assessment Process, performing overview assessments and complex specialist assessments as appropriate, and to communicate relevant medical information, assessment details and advice across agencies following guidelines for sharinginformation and informed consent.
- To work with specialist nurses and other health and social care practitioners to manage those with neurology long term conditions.
- To supervise therapy assistant practitioners and occupational therapy students.
The rehab team provides specialist neuro-rehabilitation to adults with an acquired neurological condition who are residents of The Royal Borough of Greenwich. The rehabilitation will be provided across various community settings (residential and nursinghomes) and in clients’ homes.
**Position Requirements**
- HCPC Registered
- Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Neuro setting.
