We are currently seeking 3 experienced Quality Assurance Operatives to join us within one of the UK's leading family-owned fish businesses. We are the largest independent supplier of skin-packed, and bulk fish to large multiples, wholesalers and the food service sector.

Available Shift Patterns:
Monday to Friday

**Responsibilities**:
Ongoing assessment of product quality standards throughout the primary processing areas in line with customer specification requirements

Completion of intake quality reports

Ongoing monitoring of process conditions and all relevant aspects of the production environment, inclusive of all aspects of hygiene standards across the primary processing areas and implement all practicable steps to rectify failing standards.

Ensuring rapid feedback of information, inclusive of advice if appropriate to manufacturing personnel to enable prompt adjustment and/or corrective action

Carry out any other duties within your remit as directed

Responsible for food safety, integrity, authenticity, legality and quality

About you:

- Must have previous experience in a Quality and/or Technical capacity within a food manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Quality Systems and Procedures, preferably in fish industry
- Pro-active with excellent communication skills and good problem solving skills
- A tenacious approach, not afraid to challenge the status quo
- Confidence to make decisions in a challenging environment
- Great attention to detail along with paperwork/procedural knowledge/skills
- Flexible to meet the needs of the business
