We currently have an opportunity for an
**Internal Communications Officer **to join our team based
**in Exeter and our Bristol Water offices. **Joining us on a
**full-time permanent** basis, you will receive a competitive salary of
**£28,000 - £32,500 per annum **plus excellent benefits.

**About the role**

***

As our Internal Communications Officer you will work as part of the Pennon Group Internal Communications team, delivering colleague facing communications to drive internal communication and engagement.

You will report to the Senior Internal Communications Manager and will help deliver the agreed Pennon Group and Operations internal communications strategy and plans.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Building strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Playing an active role in delivering our internal communications plan
- Developing compelling content and delivering it through appropriate internal channels
- Helping plan and deliver events, both virtual and face to face as per our plan
- Upholding our Brand Guidelines, and guiding others in their use
- Working collaboratively with External, Community and Public Affairs team members to connect and align our internal communications
- Supporting incidents and ad-hoc requests for support
- Working out of hours on occasion to deliver internal communications e.g. Financial Results, Leadership Events, and join the on-call rota to provide cover for incidents as part of the wider Communications Team

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience in a similar role delivering high quality, relevant internal or external communications
- Strong writing skills and confident presentation skills
- Able to stay calm under pressure and able to adapt and work effectively in a variety of situations
- A flexible approach to working in the Exeter and Bristol offices, with flexibility to work from home on an informal basis
