Truck Sales Executive - eStar Mercedes-Benz

eStar Truck and Van Knowsley are looking for an experienced sales professional to join their growing team.

**The Company**

eStar Truck and Van is an approved Mercedes-Benz dealer group with 5 locations covering the North-West and North Wales, selling the full range of new and used Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles including the Vito, Sprinter and Citan vans, Atego, Actros, Arocs and Econic trucks, as well as the FUSO Canter.

They also provide aftersales support for the full range of Mercedes-Benz vans and trucks, and FUSO Canter with 24-hour commercial vehicle workshops, suppliers of Mercedes-Benz GenuineParts and ReMan Parts. 24-hour roadside assistance and recovery, VOSA Authorised Testing Facilities, Servicing and MOT class 4, 5, 7.

They have over 300 colleagues, located across 4 locations which include Deeside, Stoke-on-Trent, Trafford Park, and most recently, Knowsley, their brand new, state-of-the-art facility.

Hours
- Monday - Friday plus evening and Saturday working on a rota.
- Based at Knowsley Head Office, Trafford Park, Deeside and other eStar sites as required.

**The Role**

As a Truck Sales Consultant with eStar, you will find you are working with a team that drives the standard in customer care, selling the most technologically advanced trucks in the world.

You will manage the customers journey, generating your own truck sales leads through prospecting using tried and tested methods but highly encouraged to think outside of the box too.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Responsible for identifying new business and building lasting relationships with prospects.
- Well-targeted and continuous planning of acquisition of new customers
- Regular usage of Sales Force System and updating all prospects and clients
- Monitor the progress of all sold orders to ensure that delivery deadlines are met and all necessary paperwork is in place
- Ensure that the demonstrator fleet is effectively used to maximise sales
- Explaining differences between Mercedes-Benz heavy goods vehicles and competitors' vehicles; highlighting advantages and TCO
- Compiling and sending out professional quotations
- Involvement in sales events/ride and drive type events/exhibitions
- Upselling of repair and maintenance contracts and DTFS finance offers
- Handing over vehicle
- Planning and carrying out regular contact with customers
- An understanding of the requirement to sell alternative fuel vehicles, an understanding of charge point infrastructure (how they work, how they’re fed) would be advantageous, though training would be given.)

You will of course be supplied with a company car (a Mercedes-Benz petrol-hybrid), company mobile phone and laptop.

Basic Salary**:£30,000** per annum plus commission this obviously depends on performance but in your first year you will earn an average of £40,000-£50,000 then once more experienced and have a more established client base anything up to £100,000.
